Giuseppe Russo è un economista professionista e dal 1987 è docente incaricato nel Politecnico di Torino dove ha svolto gli insegnamenti di Economia europea, Analisi dei sistemi finanziari e, attualmente, Mercati e strumenti finanziari. Ha fondato e dirige la società di studi e consulenza STEP Ricerche srl, che sviluppa progetti complessi per imprese ed enti pubblici. Ha svolto attività di ricerca per il Centro di ricerca e documentazione “Luigi Einaudi” pressoché ininterrottamente dal 1985 ad oggi. E’ Presidente di UNIONFIDI SC, la maggiore società di garanzia italiana a capitale interamente privato. Ha svolto incarichi di amministrazione di aziende e associazioni. E’ collaboratore e editorialista del Sole 24 Ore – Nord Ovest, nonché membro del Comitato di direzione di Biblioteca della Libertà e membro del Comitato Scientifico dell’ Unione Industriale di Torino.

Giuseppe Russo is a professional economist and from 1987 a Professor in the School of Engineering of the Politecnico of Turin, where he teaches European Economics, Financial Systems and Financial Markets and Instruments. He has founded and directs the consultancy company STEP Ricerche srl, which develops complex projects for enterprises and public bodies. He has been developing research projects for Centro di ricerca e documentazione “Luigi Einaudi” almost uninterruptedly from 1985 up until today. He is the President of UNIONFIDI SC, the major private Italian Company of Guarantee. His works include administration and management of private companies and associations. He collaborates and writes for the Italian economic newspaper “Il Sole-24 Ore” and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Scientific Review Biblioteca della Libertà and a member of the Scientific Committee of the Industrial Union “Unione Industriale” of Turin.
